Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of things do you fabricate?
Cones, saddles, stacks, piece parts, and large weldments are a regular part of our work, but the short answer is anything made of steel that needs welding. If you can draw it, we would love to take a look at it!
Do you take small jobs?
Yes! We usually build large items here at Ramco, but we apply the same level of care to a handful of small parts as we do to a 100 foot tank.
Do you work in stainless steel?
Yes! We fabricate in both carbon and stainless steel, and we will gladly quote other materials when the job calls for them.
Can you do the whole part under one roof?
We can. Our shop can cut the plate, roll it on our plate rolls, bend the structural shapes in our rolling department, weld it all up (long seams by submerged arc), and sandblast and paint the finished piece, so you take delivery of a finished weldment instead of a pile of parts.
