## CNC Plate Cutting

Most of our work starts on our CNC burn table. We cut plate to shape right here in the shop. Pictured: cutting the doorway in a 3/8 inch head for a hyperbaric chamber.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What kinds of things do you fabricate?

Cones, saddles, stacks, piece parts, and large weldments are a regular part of our work, but the short answer is anything made of steel that needs welding. If you can draw it, we would love to take a look at it!

### Do you take small jobs?

Yes! We usually build large items here at Ramco, but we apply the same level of care to a handful of small parts as we do to a 100 foot tank.

### Do you work in stainless steel?

Yes! We fabricate in both carbon and stainless steel, and we will gladly quote other materials when the job calls for them.

### Can you do the whole part under one roof?

We can. Our shop can cut the plate, roll it on our [plate rolls](https://ramcofabricators.com/plate-rolling), bend the structural shapes in our [rolling department](https://ramcofabricators.com/structural-rolling), weld it all up (long seams by [submerged arc](https://ramcofabricators.com/submerged-arc-welding)), and sandblast and paint the finished piece, so you take delivery of a finished weldment instead of a pile of parts.
